At this time, we can only ship olive oil to U.S. addresses. We are working on an arrangement for shipping abroad, but it will take a few months for this to be in place. Olive oil soap and za'tar, however, can be shipped outside the U.S. A flat-fee of $6.00 is added to all U.S./Canada orders (for the entire order); for orders outside of the U.S./Canada, please use the "international orders" button, which includes an additional shipping surcharge.

From the olive trees of the Jenin region, we offer you this hearty oil from trees cultivated since the era of the Roman empire (hence the name, Arabic for "Roman"), yielding a robust and pungent oil.

Canaan Fair Trade Extra Virgin Olive Oil: Estate Blend
17 fluid ounce bottle (500 ml), cold pressed, certified organic and fair trade
Estate Blend is Canaan's super premium organic, cold-pressed, extra virgin olive oil. It comes from Bayyada trees, from which the olives are cultivated with extreme care and pressed in small batches the day they are picked, in order to retain their full-bodied characteristics. Bottled in a splendid new facility in the village of Burqin, near Jenin.

A traditional staple in the Palestinian kitchen, za'tar is made from powdered thyme, sesame seeds, and sumac (a spice made from ground sour berries). Thyme is believed --by Palestinians, at least-- to improve the memory. It is eaten with Arabic (a.k.a. pita) bread and olive oil; you dip the bread in the oil, and then in the za'tar.

Original cut, made in Nablus
5 ounces (140 grams)
This very mild and moisturizing soap, made from top-quality local olive oil, is especially suited for dry and sensitive skin. Good for both face and body. Made the same way and in the same factories in Nablus that have been producing it for decades, under the Jamal (Camel) label. Please note that the cut is a large cube, and olive oil soap produces very little lather.
